We are a small company from Luton & Dunstable area, trying to deliver service to the customers satisfaction.Our goal is to minimize clients problems associated with defects in the hardware, provide a full range of services from the maintenance of computer hardware to software configurations, part replacements and general care. We sell used notebooks, build/compose new computers according to customer's needs, repair/replace parts and components for computers and laptops. Remote Support Programme for allWe have a dedicated Remote Support team available for customers. This technology lets us “remotely” control your PC or laptop (permission given by). We use the commercial software ‘Team Viewer’ for our remote support. Team Viewer sets up a strong secure connection between your PC and us so our technician can see your computer screen and control your PC remotely as if we were sitting in front of it. You can just sit back and watch us work our magic! Please phone us on 0800 566 8314 to make contact with a technician before running the remote software. You will be prompted to click either the ‘PC’ button located below this text to start remote support. The pre configured client software which you run from our website initiates an outgoing connection from your PC to our technicians PC, so you are allowing us to connect. Once the session has ended, the connection has been lost or the PC has been rebooted, then we will no longer have access to your PC unless you run the client software from our website again. Once you close the Team Viewer client application, the software will remove itself from your PC.

Privacy Policy
Terms & Conditions1. We reserve the right to refuse to return equipment if you fail to produce this receipt or other proof of ownership, or refuse to pay for work satisfactorily completed.
2. Labor is charged at £35 per hour on site and £30 per hour if brought to us, a minimum charge of one hours labour applies to all jobs accepted, whether repairs are completed or not.
3. A mileage fee of 45p per mile in both directions applies to all on-site jobs which are outside our service area. Our service area is within a 12 mile radius of our office (LU5). We will inform you if a mileage fee applies prior to visiting. Mileage is calculated from our office at LU5 to the destination.
4. We accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Payment is due within 7 days. We reserve the right to claim statutory interest (at 8 per cent over the current Bank of England base rate) and compensation for recovery costs under late payment legislation if money owed is not received by the agreed date and under the agreed terms.
5. All repairs are covered by our 7 day return to base guarantee. Which means if the same fault re-occurs within a short time period (normally 7 days) and you return your PC to us, we will happily reinvestigate the problem, crediting any previous labour charged towards the cost of re-investigating the same problem. Where the reinvestigation charges exceed previous charges, we reserve the right to invoice the difference.
6. All parts supplied are covered by our 30 day warranty and thereafter the standard manufacturers warranty.
7. QCS Quality Computer Services does not accept any liability for data or software which is lost, corrupted, deleted or altered during repair; we therefore recommend that any data is adequately backed up by you prior to us commencing work on your equipment. Bluefish Computer Services can backup your data for you prior to commencing work for an additional charge.
8. A “System re-installation” only includes the following.
- a) Complete erasure of hard disk drive
- b) Re installation of Windows operating system
- c) Installation of system hardware drivers (additional costs may be charged for sourcing drivers not supplied by customer)
- d) Installation of system updates
- e) Installation of FREE antivirus & updates. Any additional software or hardware installation such as scanners printers or broadband or training of same is not included in the re installation cost and any on-site visits to complete these or additional work will be fully chargeable at our usual rates.
9. We reserve the right to refuse to install software if we suspect that it is not legal or correctly licensed. We will be unable to install licensed software without a valid licence key. Your data may be copied and stored on our backup devices at times, and we reserve the right to contact relevant authorities should illegal files or activity be identified on your equipment.
10. Phone calls and conversations may be recorded for training, legal or confirmation purposes.
11. Equipment not collected 14 days after job completion will incur a daily storage fee of £5 per day and after 30 days we will assume you no longer want your equipment back and will dispose of it accordingly. If we intend to dispose of your goods in this way you will be informed in writing beforehand. Any funds received will be used to recover our costs and any outstanding invoices owed by you, should there be any funds remaining, they will be refunded to you at the address provided on your equipment receipt. Any goods not collected after 180 days will be disposed of regardless of ownership. These terms and conditions are subject to change and any time without prior notice to you and do not affect your statutory rights.
Remote Support Terms and ConditionsWhilst we embark on taking all due care in the use of your computer, QCS cannot guarantee this service will resolve the IT problem or that the attempt to resolve technical issues will not cause additional problems requiring an on site or back-to-base support call. QCS is not liable for any consequential damages and it is the client's responsibility to backup all applications and data prior to the session. Please close any personal or confidential information on your screen, as the technician will be viewing your desktop.
By using this Remote Support Service you understand that:
- All remote service and software provided "as is" and at customers sole risk.
- You are responsible for the backup of your data and applications.
- QCS is not liable for consequential damages of any kind.
- QCS is not liable for unauthorized access to anybody's computers via the remote software "QCS Remote" (anyone can connect to your computer using QCS Remote, however they will need the password and unique identifier to do so).
- QCS will not disclose passwords or ID's to any undisclosed 3rd party.

The Software
QCS uses the software "QCS Remote" to provide remote assistance and technical support. Features of this software include:
- Easy to use and totally secure. You are in full control and can end the session at any time.
- Completely secure data channels with key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding, the same security standard used in HTTPS/SSL technologies - the gold standard in security on the internet.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems remotely.
- Allow your support representative to view or control your desktop.
- Transfer files via direct transfer to or from the support representative (optional).
"QCS Remote" will be installed onto your computer so that we can obtain remote access at any time with your permission. If you wish to uninstall the software please contact us and we will explain how to do this. The Remote Connection When you have agreed to use our remote service you will need to initiate a secure connection with one of our support engineers. In order to create this connection, you will download a module to your system that will communicate with our engineers computer. Our engineer will explain where you can download this module over the telephone. Instructions can also be found on website. QCS treat all data in strict confidence, to view our privacy policy, please visit our website.
